Robot Girl

This is a project for my Illustration in the Market class. The assignment was to pick a topic having to do with a foreign topic and create an illustration incorporating a photograph.

My topic is the increasingly realistic robots that Japan has been developing to fill gaps in (mostly) jobs in the future because of Japan's rapid decline in population. There is a lot of symbolism in this....I don't know if I want to explain all of it....basically it's showing a possibility of a sci-fi-like scenario of robots overtaking humanity.

Done in photoshop, several days. Hurray for getting final projects done 5 minutes before class!!
